River Rock
River Rock Adventure is the Sunday morning programs for elementary-aged children (K-5th grade) containing 3 elements: Fun Stations, Large Group, and Small Group.
Fun Stations encourage friendship, fellowship, and of course, fun!
Large Group is when the Bible story is presented. Kids engage in worship, scripture, visual presentations, prayer, and fun activities.
Small Group is where leaders make the Bible story relavant and help kids apply it to their lives through games, experiments, and conversation.
We want every child to know that Jesus can be their “Forever Friend”.
Congratulations to our 5th Grade Graduates!
What have we been up to?
At River Rock, we have adopted two wonderful children from across the world in Uganda and Haiti. We hope to give them whatever assistance we can to aid them in their lives.

Akello
River Rock Adventure children have adopted an 8 year old girl from Uganda named Akello. The children bring in their quarters weekly to help sponsor Akello because she is among the poorest of the poor. Her family has so few resources that she faces life threatening illnesses daily, has a limited opportunity to attend school, and is forced to live in shoddy housing. The River Rock children sponsor her because they want her to receive medical care, educational training, food and spiritual guidance through Compassion International so she can reach her God-given potential.
Westlend Clermont
River Rock would like to welcome our second adopted child - Westlend Clermont from Haiti. Westlend is 5 years old and lives with his father and his mother. He is responsible for carrying water. His father is employed as a teacher and his mother is sometimes employed as a seller in the market. There are 3 children in his family. Playing group games is Westlend's favorite activity. In pre-school his performance is above average and he also regularly attends church activities. Please remember Westlend in yoru prayers. Your love and support will help him to receive the assistance he needs to grow and develop.
